Golden-headed Quetzal at Septimo Paraiso

A few days after my first view of the Golden-headed Quetzal, I had another encounter with one of these magnificent birds, this time showing off the brilliant front side.

What a great shot, shame that the place is not as good as it used to be. Trails are in bad condition and I have heard the actual owner, not the bird watcher but his ex is in charge and things have gone downhil], shame because the place was great for birds

Thanks for your comments. Sorry to hear things have "gone downhill," but maybe it's some consolation to know that the birds might see that as a good thing. But I do hope the place will be kept accessible for birders, too.

The place used to be really good as they say, not anymore. I got stolen in one of the rooms and they did not help me at all. Not a good place to.
