Young Scrub-Jays in the neighborhood

The two young Western Scrub-Jays had disappeared after leaving the nest on May 27, but now they are very active and visible again. In my yard and the neighbors' they are often heard making their 'little pig' squealing sounds whenever one of the parents shows up with food. Then there is a 10-second flurry of fluttering wings and gaping beaks being stuffed with food.
