Silvery Blue
This is the upperside view of the Silvery Blue in the previous photo. He usually positioned himself with his back toward the sun, but I never saw his wings open completely.
The Flycatcher
To describe my lifelong fascination with flight and with creatures that fly I like to echo the words of John James Audubon who in 1839 wrote of himself as "...one who never can cease to admire and to study with zeal and the most heartfelt reverence, the wonderful productions of an Almighty Creator."

dear flloyd that silvery blue butterfly is beautiful. once for school me elisha and some other kids had to study an animal or bug and i studed butterflys. once a butterfly landed on my finger.
